When you come to see me I encourage you to be fully involved in your own treatment.
If your main focus is pain relief I'll be clear about how long I think that will take so that you know what to expect. If you're coming to me for ongoing help with staying pain free, and maintaining good flexibility and posture, I'll always ask you how things are going so we can continue to monitor your progress.
I will explain to you what I'm doing and why. If there are exercises or stretches that I feel are right for you, I'll take the time to teach you and check that you're doing them correctly. It's important that we both know what we're trying to achieve, what's realistic and what's going to work for you.
At each consultation we'll make the decision together about what should happen next.
